I know this is late notice, but there is a free concert at our church tonight by the singer/songwriter with three first names — Nathan Clark George.
Remember when John Mellencamp was known as John Cougar? Then it was John Cougar Mellencamp for most of the 80’s. He dropped the big cat middle name when the 90’s rolled around. Maybe if ol’ John comes out of retirement it should be as John Mellen Cougarcamp? That would be hilarious. Anyway, that is what I think of when I hear people mistakenly say Nathan George Clark, because it can be confusing to have three first names. Did you know that Kennedy can be a first name? One of my cousins is named Kennedy. I suppose that means I have three first names, too, except Kennedy is a girl name.
Getting back to the details about the concert . . . Nathan visited our church last year (see this post). He played in our worship service this morning and I am really looking forward to hearing the songs from his new album.
