20 Updates on 20 Lines

Life has been busy, hence the lack of regular updates. Below are some of the things (past, present and future) that we wanted to share with our friends and family who keep track of us online.

  1. We traveled to Biloxi during Mardi Gras last month.
  2. The boys’ bunk bed finally arrived and is assembled.

  5. Scott had another kidney stone last week (3/19 – 3/26).
  6. Ethan was five months old last Tuesday, March 20th.
  7. Aidan has an adult molar coming in (his first).
  8. Isabel has been using the training potty (#2’s mostly).
  9. Aidan is playing baseball (coach pitched/t-ball).
  10. Isabel (and perhaps Aidan) broke my digital SLR’s camera lens.
  11. Mama & Papa Leavengood are visiting for Easter weekend.
  12. Grandpa Kennedy is visiting the weekend following Easter.
  13. Aunt Lala & Uncle Bobo are moving here in a month.
  14. Scott will be business traveling for three weeks in April/May.
  15. Pam is helping organize our church’s summer VBS program.
  16. Scott is doing horribly in this year’s basketball pools.
  17. Our tax return is going toward a high-efficiency washer/dryer.

How do you feel about the trees coming down??

I’m mostly okay with it. They’re oak trees that used to be part of a dense canopy. They are tall, thin and don’t offer a lot of shade benefit. The neighbor is worried that one of them might fall on the houses, kind of like our right neighbor’s tree did last summer.

The part I’m not okay with is that they sit right on the property line, so he wants to split the cost. It’s fair, but I’m just not happy about having to cut down trees that either one of the builders should have taken care of when the cleared the lots.

Scratch #17 (probably). Our house’s A/C went out last night. It’s raining and 63 degrees here…for now. :-(

Any chance you could ask the builders to foot the bill?
