The route for the 2007 Tour de Georgia was announced today (see map). In 2006 Chattanooga became the first city outside of Georgia to host a tour stage finish with an individual time trial that began in Chickamauga ended along the riverfront. This year’s time trial will be on a similar route, but with a mountain top finish. The big change is that the prior day’s stage will stop in the Scenic City. I had a blast watching the race last year when it came near our house, so I look forward to attending (possibly even volunteering) next April.
