Our little bedroom community of Flintstone, GA is growing again. While Stanford Place, where we live, is continuing to expand into Phase 3, there is a newer and more upscale subdivision that recently opened up on the other side of Hwy 193. Turkey Run is located on the back side of Valley View (a 1960’s or 1970’s era subdivision). Based on the lot sizes and the first listing, it looks like most of the homes are going to sell for $300K and up. I am excited that development is continuing, because it means that our area might someday get a real grocery store.

save a spot for my parents in the next year or 3. and who knows? maybe us too (especially if TN does an income tax). we’d prefer a lower price point, however.
Yeah, we would love to live in a house like that, but it’s beyond our price point too. I’m also still dreaming about a plot of land with no neighbors next to me, but I don’t want to have to live out in the boonies to afford it.
We were talking about your neigborhood and some people who could be moving there soon and someone declared it the New St. Elmo.
That is funny! There’s growing Covenant community here and we were pioneers.
